JUNIORS COACHING

We have a thriving junior program at RATC delivered by Jay Hunting and his coaching assistants.

Our classes take place in a great social and friendly environment where your children can meet new friends while learning to play tennis. We are committed to providing the right balance between social and competitive tennis, making sure your child receives a quality lesson perfectly suited to them. We believe that if the children can make friends and have a great time whilst learning we will keep them in the game for longer.

We follow the LTA framework and have developed players through to National Level, winning county, regional and National titles.

For all tennis coaching enquiries please contact Jay at coach@royalascottennis.com.

MINI TENNIS

Mini Tennis provides the perfect introduction to the sport for children aged between 3 and 10.

Red courts, smaller courts and equipment, and lower-bouncing balls help young people get to grips with the game and develop a love for the sport. We run a popular MINI SESSION on Saturdays where young players- 3-5 get on court with their parents and play games whilst developing basic swing shapes and working on their ABC's.

COMPETITIVE TENNIS

We hold an annual junior tournament with qualifying rounds on a Sunday in late July. Finals take place on finals day in September alongside the adult finals. Our stronger players regularly compete against players from other clubs in the Berkshire league and we have several players competing externally at county, regional and national level.

“Really enjoyed the club since joining in May this year. Really friendly, great coaching. Enjoying the lessons I am signed up to. ”
